Abstract

This project implements Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) in the Cell Biotechnology Laboratory with the objective of improving quality, safety and reliability in cell biotechnology research and teaching. GLP includes guidelines to ensure data integrity, reproducibility of results, and a safe working environment. Implementation involved training in materials and equipment handling, development of experimental protocols, and monitoring of compliance with biosafety standards. In addition, periodic evaluations were carried out to measure the impact on the quality of the practices and scientific results. This initiative seeks to develop a culture of responsibility and professionalism in students and researchers, aligning them with international standards and strengthening their competencies for the professional scientific environment.
