Abstract

In November 2022, the United States (US) Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) requested information regarding cases of Pseudomonas aeruginosa eye infections. As of March 2023, there have been 68 cases and three deaths associated with the outbreak, with a nationwide recall of ‘Ezricare Artificial Tears’ eyedrops issued on 2 February 2023.
